A client of ours asked this week how to find out when a domain was first registered, so we thought we’d write a short (very short!) guide.
It’s a very simplistic process.
1. Go to WHOIS.com
2. Type the domain domain into the search box (located top right)
3. Hit “WHOIS Lookup”
The result should be something similar to the image below. It will show when a domain registered for the first time and who the owner is.
